Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 21 September 2026

By using Boutros Afandy you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. What the service is

The platform is a technical intermediary that lists lawyer profiles and makes contact and booking easier. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and is not a party to the relationship between a client and a lawyer.

2. Accounts

The details you enter must be accurate. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity from your account. We may suspend any account that breaches these terms.

3. Lawyer verification

Verification is carried out by reviewing documents the lawyer uploads. We take reasonable care in that review, but we do not guarantee the quality of any lawyer's work or the outcome of any case.

4. Bookings and fees

A booking stays pending until the lawyer confirms it. Fees are agreed and paid between client and lawyer outside the platform, and we collect no part of them.

5. Free inquiries

A free question is not a substitute for a full consultation, and answering it does not create a retainer between client and lawyer.

6. Reviews

A review is only possible after an appointment has actually been completed. Every review is read before publication, and we remove any containing abuse, personal data or untruths.

7. Content

The legal library is general public information, not advice on a specific matter. A lawyer is responsible for the articles published under his name.

8. Lawyer subscriptions

Paid plans are for lawyers only. Renewal is not automatic and a plan ends when its term ends. Prices may change with prior notice; a running subscription completes at its original price.

9. Prohibited use

The platform may not be used for any unlawful purpose, to send unsolicited messages, to impersonate anyone, or to scrape lawyer data automatically.

10. Changes

We may amend these terms; continuing to use the platform after an amendment means you accept it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Egyptian law, and the Egyptian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
